April 2026 ORF Tour

ORF TOUR – WEDNESDAY April 15, 2026

The destination for the Wednesday April 15, 2026 ORF is a going to be McCaysville, GA. This Tour will include a spirited drive from Stonepile Gap – Trahlyta’s Grave near Dahlonega up/down the twisty/curvy mountain roads of GA HWY 60 to Mineral Bluff, for a bio/fuel break and on toward the GA/TN state line.

The tentative schedule/route is:

• 08:30am – 09:30am Breakfast at Dawsonville IHOP 4117 Dawson Forest Rd E. Dawsonville, GA

• 09:30 am- 09:45am Tire kicking and drivers meeting 

• 09:45am – 11:15am Depart IHOP for drive to Exxon at 8200 Appalachian Hwy Mineral Bluff, GA

• 11:15am – 11:45am Bio/fuel break

• 11:45am – 12:15pm Short drive to McCaysville, GA

• 12:15pm – 01:45pm Lunch - Burra Burra on the River 100 Blue Ridge Dr Suite 100 McCaysville, GA  https://burraburraontheriver.com/

A few pointers/requests:

- There are multiple opportunities to join/leave the tour in route in order to make it more convenient for you to participate. Please contact Tom Nadelhoffer to discuss alternatives

- If you plan to participate please send Tom Nadelhoffer an email advising the # of participants, your cellphone # and if you plan to eat breakfast and/or lunch with the group no later than Monday APRIL 13. This information is required in order to insure sufficient seating at IHOP, make reservations for lunch and also to send you a confirmation email advising the tour is a go after checking the weather forecasts a few days prior to the departure. This is also how you’ll get a copy of the final route.
