Rear Axle Tech Session

The rear axle in our MGs may leak some oil into the brake and/or exhibit a noticeable 'clunk' when going from forward to reverse and vice versa. In this tech session we will demonstrate replacing the oil seal (item no. 40 in the attached diagram) to stop any leaks and the thrust washers (nos.18 and 20) to minimize/eliminate the 'clunk'.
If time permits, we can put an MG up on the lift for a quick inspection and answer any questions you may have.
When we’re done, we’ll go for lunch at a nearby restaurant.
