In addition to our Dawsonville departure point, a contingent of the Georgia Triumph Association Southside Division will be leading a Polar Bear Run from Sharpsburg, GA. on December 28th. The destination is the same River Remedy Brewing in Rome, GA. North meets South!
South drive will begin at the Costco parking lot (near the gas pumps) at
40 Fischer Crossings Dr., Sharpsburg, GA 30277.
The departure time is 9:15 AM sharp on non-highway roads.
About the event
Driver's meeting at 9:40 am, wheels up 10 am. Top down preferred, top up optional!
Polar Bear Run 2024 will begin at Atlanta MotorSports Park, destination is River Remedy Brewing, Rome GA , 112 scenic miles and 2 1/2 hours, in a Triumph I should add. Lesser vehicles might expect a longer time. Our thanks to Jim Smith for planning the drive. Lunch is on your own once you arrive in Rome.
Plan to arrive at AMP around 8:30 am.
A suggested minimum $10 per person donation will be collected at the start of the event with proceeds from this event donated to ALS United Georgia. We welcome all donations although no donation is required to participate in the event. Click here to donate online.
