As you may have noticed there is a drive to a Triumph Show on the same date as this Tech Session. Just to make sure and clarify any confusion, the Tech Session is not canceled an it is not too late yet to sign up with the RSVP button below.
Front Suspension and Steering
Tech Session
The MG front suspension and steering is quite robust but after years of usage many require new bushings and/or tie rod ends. These repairs are too invasive and too much work for a tech session. However, using John Tansy's MGBGT as an example, we'll go over the details, discuss what wears and needs to be replaced, and look at a disassembled steering rack. Also, we'll show a couple of home mechanic tools to set the toe-in of the front wheels (the only wheel adjustment available on most MGs).
The day will start at 10:00 am and and when we're done with John's car, we may have time for some other MGs on the lift, before we go for lunch at a nearby restaurant.
